Senorbì, Sa Domu Nosta Archaeological Museum

The museum is located in an old manor house. It is dedicated to the archeology of Trexenta and documents the continuity of the settlement from the recent Neolithic to the Middle Ages.
The finds come from both settlements and necropolises and include fictile and lithic artifacts from the pre-Nuragic cultures of Sardinia.
A large batch of materials, including numerous artifacts imported from Greece and Central Italy, comes from the rural Punic settlement of Santu Teru.
The necropolis was connected to this town with underground chambers from the Punic and Late Punic periods of Monte Luna, from which the rich collections that confirm the existence of a thriving community come from. The grave goods consist of amphorae, jugs, cups, plates, lamps and perfume burners, but above all of gold, silver, bronze and iron jewelry, some of which are of fine workmanship. There are numerous necklaces and charms in hard stone, ivory, glass, talc paste and vitreous paste, and scarabs in carnelian and green jasper.
The review of materials is enriched by the reconstruction of an amphora deposition (at 'enchitrysmós').
The exhibition itinerary, accompanied by educational panels also in English, is completed by an ethnographic section that reconstructs typical Campidanese cuisine and an environment for temporary exhibitions.

Why it's important to visit it
The museum collects archaeological evidence from a territory inhabited since prehistoric times but profoundly modified by the landlord policy of Carthage. The highlight of the collection is made up of scarabs and goldsmiths.
